| The Mooseheart Bike Blessing & Run is the centerpiece event of International Moose Ride 4 Kids Day. In 2004, a small group of motorcycling members from the Lombard, IL Moose Lodge # 2350 made a pilgrimage to the House of God on the Mooseheart campus to have their motorcycles blessed for the upcoming riding season. The Mooseheart Bike Blessing was born, and since then hundreds of "Moose Riders" from all over the country and the general public have attended this growing annual event. Funds raised during the blessing and ride benefit the children of Mooseheart and Special Olympics North America Softball program. |
